Notice 12-20-2024 : Have a Wonderful Holiday Season from West Brandywine Township!

Yard Waste Drop-Off Guidelines

Residents may drop off yard waste throughout the year on the first Saturday of the month 8 AM until 1 PM. Holiday weekends, brush drop off moves to the following Saturday. See calendar for dates.

March through October an additional drop-off is scheduled on the third Wednesday of the month from 4 PM until 8 PM.

This service is to provide a convenience to West Brandywine property owners as an outlet for yard debris. Please consult professional for tree removal services.

*Proof of residency required. Residential use only, no contractors.

**Yard waste load must be secured/covered when driven on a public roadway. Failure to comply carries a $300 fine. As an example, Lanchester Landfill has implemented an "Untarped Load Penalty Fee" of $17 for any load that is not tarped or contained in some way. Public Works will not accept any unsecured loads.
