Brush Chipping begins promptly on Monday mornings 7AM). Please ensure your brush is curbside prior to this time.
Please have all your brush placed curbside prior to your scheduled date. Please allow staff the entire week to complete your section.
Brush/Branches should be no longer than 8 feet in length and no larger than 4" in diameter (Do not cut branches up into small pieces)
To help with the efficient removal of yard brush, place cut brush ends perpendicular to the roadway and space the brush piles out to allow more efficient use of the allocated time.
Bamboo is not permitted for yard waste pick up or drop off at the townships compost facility.
Spread brush out where possible this makes pick up more efficient as the crew is not spending your 15 minutes fighting to untangle the brush.
There is a 15-minute time allotment for brush disposal at each address. Any remaining material after the allotted time can be disposed of at the Township’s compost facility during scheduled times as noted above or on the Townships website. Please Note: This program is a convenience for Township residents and is not meant to replace a professional tree service.
The following material will not be collected:
Trash, thorny materials, plants, bamboo, leaves, grass, nail or metal embedded material and any compostable material that is covered or mixed with dirt or rocks will not be collected. The above items can damage equipment and cause injury to township staff.
Small twigs and branches less than 4 feet in length.
Trees and brush cut or trimmed by contractors hired by property owners is the responsibility of the contractor for removal.
Material cleared from lots or undeveloped property.
* Residents with large amount of landscaping debris should contact a professional tree service.
